Permission To Leave Campus
Students who need to leave campus during the regular school day shouldbring a written note before school from their parent/guardian to theAttendance Office. The note should state the time the student is to leave andthe reason for leaving along with a phone number where the parent can bereached for confirmation. The Attendance Office will call to confirm the noteand then issue a permit to leave campus at the time a student is approved toleave.
If a student becomes ill during the school day, the nurse will issue apass to leave after notifying the parent/guardian.
If a student needs to leave school for a medical or dental appointment, he/she must have written parental permission. Notes from parents should bepresented to the Attendance Office before school. In the event anappointment is cancelled or made unexpectedly, parents should contact theAttendance Office. Jordan High School is a closed campus. Students are notallowed to leave campus unless they have a valid permit to do so.
Doctor/Dentist Appointments
If absent or late due to a doctor/dental appointment, the student must bringa note issued by the doctor/dental office verifying the appointment andindicating the time the student left the doctor/dental office. |
